Here is described how to integrate Kunena Forum with Community builder. If the integration is not complete or if is not doing all necessary step we will se the message that there is a problem with integration between two components in the Kunena Administration Panel like this.

All necessary step for integration

We start with installation of the components where is a secret of good integration. For good integration you should use the latest stable version of Kunena and latest stable version of Community Builder or minimum 1.2.1 which have all necessary for integration.

Installation of Kunena

Download the Kunena here, install with Joomla installer. If you have problem with installation ask to help on our forum in appropriate category Installation, Upgrade and Migration. Well if all is OK with installation of Kunena try to make some post or doing some operation to be sure then all works well. Set the Kunena like you want to use the forum component. If you have problem with using of Kunena ask for help in our Support Forum. If you need to do some configuration for your forum don't activate the Profile integration with Community Builder. If all works as we want then we go to install Community Builder.

Installation of Community Builder

Download the component and install with standard Joomla installer. Now from here come most of problem in integration. You need to do all step of the installation like is described in CB Readme file.

1. Install com_comprofiler component
2. Install mod_cblogin module
3. Install mod_comprofilerModerator module
4. Install mod_comprofilerOnline module
5. Enable CB Login, CB Workflows and CB Online modules
6. Select Name Style parameter from Community Builder Configuration and Save. Run Community Builder Synchronize Users tool.
7. Disable Joomla/Mambo login modules
8. Add new Public menu item to Community Builder component
9. Add new User List menu item
10. Run Load Sample Data tool (optional)
11. Adjust Community Builder and Joomla/Mambo CMS settings to allow registrations only through Community Builder
12. Done!

Activation of integration

Go to Components -> Community Builder -> Plugin Management. Open the plugin Forum Integration. Do all necessary settings like on image and Save the plugin.

Now go to Components -> Kunena Forum -> Kunena Configuration -> Integration and select Comunity Builder for Profile Settings and Avatar Integration -> Save.

Well. Done. If you still have the message on the top, with integration problem, try to do all once again and if the problem persist ask for help on our Support Forum.
